The Trusteeship Council is composed of various organizations active in the health sector – namely: Oncosuisse, Public Health Switzerland, the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) and the Conference of Cantonal Health Directors.
The Cancer Screening Committee works on scientifically based recommendations for screening examinations.
The Head Office acts as a central hub and prepares the Experts Committee’s reports and recommendations .
If necessary, the Cancer Screening Committee will appeal to and invite external experts who can advise them on specific topics.
Actors with an interest in screening issues are considered to be Stakeholders who can be invited by the Expert Committee.
